Bill reports:

We kept 3 Trout caught by Ray Botts - the biggest was 4.5 lbs. We also kept 4 sailcatfish the two largest were 5 lbs. caught by Phil and Ray.  Our total catch was 3 trout and 4 sailcats + plus many other smaller fish.  Our best bait was cut pinfish and we lost several nice fish that hit on this bait.  Shrimp were less successful though Phil caught his large sailcat on shrimp.  Artificials were less successful catching only a few smaller trout + some small sea bass and lizard fish.  One keeper trout was caught on a Berkley imitation crab.  The fishing was generally slow except for a short period where we caught two large trout and lost several large fish (at least 5).  Our biggest problem was keeping the larger fish on the line.  Our best success was south-east of marker 22.  One large shark (~3-4 ft.) struck at one lure close to the boat, but was not hooked.  A good time was had by all.
